P's Preparation

Practicing all the elements that you will be tested in the MOST (Skills Test) in your Pre-Provisional Course. 

  • Left turn
  • Stop in a box
  • Cone weave
  • U-turn
  • Quick Stop
  • Obstacle turn

 

$150 for 1.5 hour Lesson

 

My First Ride

course helps new riders to ease into that first ride. You can complete My First Ride on your own bike or ride one of ours. 

We come to you if you are on the Northern Beaches.

  • We will spend the first half hour re-acquainting you with the bike.
  • Practice moving off and stopping
  • Using your rear brake to control the bike at intersections
  • Taking that first ride with your instructor right beside you.

$199 for 2 hour Lesson

Before Pre-Learner Course

Many students who have never been on a motorcycle before, find that they feel unprepared for the Pre-learner licence course. 

The Before Pre-Learner course helps new riders to gain confidence and get ahead of the game so that they can arrive on the first day of their Pre-Learner course ready and raring to go. 

$125 for 1 hour Lesson

Riding your motorbike is a bit of a journey of discovery. Every ride you will experience a different level of thrill, excitement and sometimes fear.

Through your journey you will have plenty to navigate and much to learn.

OZ Rider Training can assist you build skill and confidence using tried and tested techniques learned over many years of helping learner riders down that long and winding road.

Our instructor Terry, has been helping learner and experienced riders for over 10 years at HART St Ives. He is licenced and accredited by the NSW RMS for Pre-learner and Pre-provisional courses and accredited in facilitating Motorcycle Private Lessons, MOST Practice (P's Prep), Intermediate and Advanced Rider Courses. His experience and calm nature can help even the most nervous rider to become safe and confident on the road.

I've Been Riding For A While Now

 

HOW I FEEL: 

My confidence is building, I have been riding with friends, but I find the thought of taking a challenging corner intimidating. I need to work on my clutch and gear changing. Hill starts are still a problem.

Let's go for a ride and see what you need to work on. Everybody picks up bad habits without knowing. We'll start with ironing them out and then work though the basics of cornering technique that will keep you safe and build your confidence.

My P's are getting close

HOW I FEEL: 

My riding is pretty good, but I'm not so confident with the cone weave and U-turn for the skills test. I need some practice.

Our P's Preparation course is ideal for anyone wanting to practice for the MOST (Motorcycle Operator Skills Test) that comes at the end of your Pre-provisional Training. Lots of explanation, demonstration and feedback from our very experienced and calm instructor, Terry.
2 Hours on a private training area with a maximum 6 students practicing:

    I dropped the bike, lost my confidence.

    I was doing OK but that spill (or near miss) just knocked the confidence right out of me. I really want to get back on the bike, I just need to have someone with me.

    Let's go for a ride and re-build that confidence. We'll go back to basics and make sure that you are doing all you need to keep safe out there on the road. Moving off and stopping. Braking and cornering. Working through the all important principles of motorcycling roadcraft that keep you aware, prepared and safe when riding.

    HOW I FEEL: 

    It's been years since I have been riding. My friends have convinced me to buy a bike, but I'm not confident keeping up with them on country roads.

    It's not a lot of fun always being tail end charlie and arriving 5 minutes later that the rest of the group. How about we work on some more advanced techniques that will not only improve your confidence, but have you riding just that little bit faster.
